Build quality of the frame is appropriate for the use and price - better than expected. Fresnel lens itself is surprisingly good vs. the competition (Physics dictates that the distortion free area is 6-7" circle in the center and that the image will be somewhat muddy. This lens minimizes these problems as far as possible in a single layer design). To get better results expect to spend order(s) of magnitude more money.
