Summary: Perfect for my purposes
Comment: I needed a lockable device to put in the closet to store important papers in, and this works quite well for what I needed. It seems well made, is not sloppy or loose, and holds lots of papers. 100% good for what I need. Hopefully I will never need to find out it's resistance to fire/heat. ;-)

Summary: Forget the Fire- It Disintegrates All by Itself
Comment: I bought this for my dad 2 years ago. It is imploding from the center out and cracking on every seam. It can no longer be shut it is so disfigured.
It has been in the house in a gentle environment all this time. But don't worry....there's a manufacturer's warranty. Too bad it's for a one year. I guess they know it self-destructs in two.

Comment: This is very very good at what it does -- it's solid, has a great lock mechanism, easy to open and close, and is attractive.

Comment: Purchased this more for fire protection then anything else. Nice size inside & out. The hanging folders are a nice touch. Durable & well built. Able to move around without a lot of hassle. As to theft proof, the lock is sturdy enough to deter most intruders. Definitely recommended.

Comment: I own this safe. I misplaced the keys. It took me 30 seconds with a reciprocating saw to open it. The lock bar is made of stamped steel. It cut like butter. If you are looking for theft security, spend the money to get a better safe
